You could be part of a team helping to deliver our mission to reduce the prevalence of VAWG, bring more perpetrators to justice and increase support for all survivors. These are the aims that Nottinghamshire Police and Crime Commissioner Caroline Henry has identified, working in close partnership with local authority, health and specialist third sector partners.
You could play a vital role in helping to achieve the strategy. The Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Project Lead for Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG). This is a new post which will work collaboratively with partners from local authorities, health and specialist third sector agencies to deliver Nottinghamshire’s VAWG strategy and lead the development and implementation of related project activity.
You will have strong insight and understanding of the issues and challenges of tackling VAWG, including VAWG-related hidden harm; relevant project management experience and be able to bring an enthusiastic and creative approach. Your communication skills will be excellent and you will have good experience of effective partnership working with a variety of stakeholders.
