 HOURS: 30/37 hours per week
 SALARY: £30,783 to £34,968 per annum (pro rata if part time)
TERM: Part Time / Fixed Term

The Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Nottinghamshire is seeking an enthusiastic and organised Commissioning Support Officer. The postholder will provide contract, commissioning and finance support for the OPCC’s commissioning activity, helping to ensure the successful running of the PCC’s large and diverse range of services and initiatives including crime prevention and victim support services.

You will work with internal and external colleagues in the OPCC, local authorities, health, criminal justice and voluntary sector partners to co-ordinate contract review and quality assurance meetings for OPCC commissioned services, support grant funding rounds, prepare contracts and grants paperwork and work closely with Finance to ensure commissioning income and expenditure is properly accounted for. 

You will be pro-active and organised, with experience of project or business administration, be comfortable working with financial information and have an interest in community safety.  You will also be able to work on your own initiative, have excellent communication skills and proven experience of working within a team.

The role is available on a temporary basis for up to 6 months, an extension may be possible. It is open to candidates wishing to work either part-time or full-time, with a minimum of 30 hours per week.
