The below is a request for information from potential suppliers of victim support services and has been published on the EU website. A draft specification will be publised on 8 June and an information event for potential suppliers will be held on the afternoon of 16 June. Booking is essential – details of how to book are on the request for information found below
In addition to the event for suppliers we wish to give wider stakeholders the opportunity to contribute their views on the draft specification. This can be done by email or, if there is sufficient interest, we will hold a separate event for stakeholders on the morning of 16 June. If you are a stakeholder rather than a supplier and would like to receive and comment on the specification and/or attend an event to feed in your views it is essential that you register your interest by emailing nopcc@nottinghamshire.pnn.police.uk, clearly stating whether you would like to receive the draft specification and/or attend an event for stakeholders on the morning of 16 June. Please note that this event, if held, would be for stakeholders only. If you would like to have a role in supplying or delivering any part of victims services then it is better you attend the supplier event.
REQUEST FOR INFORMATION
VICTIM SUPPORT SERVICES[i]
Background
The current contracts for Victim Support Services and Restorative Justice with The Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Nottinghamshire (OPCC) are due to expire on 31st December 2016. Therefore a full OJEU compliant tender process will follow this Request for Information once a comprehensive specification has been drafted.
Request for Information
The East Midlands Strategic Commercial Unit (EMSCU) on behalf of The Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Nottinghamshire (OPCC) are developing a draft specification and EMSCU are seeking your assistance by publishing this Request for Information (RFI). As suppliers you are deemed as subject matter experts in your areas of business and the OPCC feels that your feedback and recommendations on the draft specification is an invaluable exercise, which will ensure the commissioned service meets the needs of the public and provides continued value for money.
Information provided in the RFI returns will be analysed and used to help form the Invitation to Tender (ITT) that will be issued in accordance with EU Regulations.
