Chief Constable conduct complaints

The Nottinghamshire Police and Crime Commissioner’s Office is responsible for all complaints concerning the personal conduct of the Chief Constable. We will not be able to record a complaint against the Chief Constable because she has vicarious responsibility for actions taken by Nottinghamshire Police. The Chief Constable must be personally connected to your complaint.

The Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) has the responsibility of both appointing the Chief Constable and holding them to account during their tenure.

One way in which the PCC does this is through capturing learning from complaints and measuring complainant satisfaction.
