St Ann's Walkabout Wednesday - 7 September 2022

St Ann's Nottingham
Wednesday 7th September (10:00-12:00)
St Ann's, Nottingham 7 September, from 10am
The Police and Crime Commissioner for Nottinghamshire, Caroline Henry, will meet local people next week during a 'walkabout' tour of St Ann's in Nottingham.

The visit will launch the 'Walkabout Wednesday' events undertaken by Commissioner each month. Residents are invited to use the opportunity to raise any concerns they have about crime or antisocial behaviour in the area as well as find out about the safety improvements taking place.

Commissioner Henry will be joined by Inspector Karl Thomas and PC Brian Dacunha from the local Neighbourhood Policing Team, Councillor Corall Jenkins and a representative from the Crime and Drug Partnership for the City of Nottingham. The route will start outside St Ann's Police Station on St Ann's Well road at 10am and will incorporate a number of local streets in the area.

Going forward the PCC will host a community 'Walkabout Wednesday' event every month, to engage with communities and identify safety issues which impact on fear of crime. Key issues will be fed back to neighbourhood policing teams to address.
