A large part of a Police and Crime Commissioner role is to ensure the public is receiving a well-ran policing service.
To that end – Nottinghamshire Police and Crime Commissioner Henry visited Nottinghamshire Police’s control room at police headquarters to see how things are done and pay tribute to the hard working staff who will be answering calls over Christmas.
The leadup to Christmas is often the busiest time for police call handlers – and so please remember to only phone 999 in emergencies, and 101 for non-emergencies or utilise Nottinghamshire Police’s single online home or live chat functions via their website.
